Hope For Widows
At Vertical Cry Ministries, we believe every widow deserves companionship, support, and practical help. Life can be tough after the loss of a spouse, especially when you have to figure out everything on your own. Our ministry focuses on walking alongside widows in our communities across Colorado, Brazil, and East Africa.
We offer:
- Emotional support through regular visits and friendly check-ins
- Help with basic needs like food, clothes, and household chores
- A caring community that values every widow’s story and journey
Outreach To The Poor
We have a heart for people who struggle to meet daily needs. Our Outreach To The Poor ministry works in local neighborhoods as well as in distant communities. No one should feel forgotten or go hungry, so we come alongside those in need wherever we serve.
We help by providing:
- Emergency meals and food supplies
- Warm clothes and essential items
- Hope through encouragement and friendship
We focus on areas and people with the greatest needs, especially those who are struggling most. We listen to local leaders and families to understand where help is needed most right now. Our goal is to be where we can make the biggest difference for the poor, widows, orphans, and the next generation.
We work directly with local leaders and families, so help goes straight to those who need it most. We check in often and follow up to make sure food, support, and resources are actually received and used as planned. This way, we know our help makes a real difference.
We are funded by generous donations from individuals, churches, and partners. Most of the money goes directly to helping the poor, widows, orphans, and the next generation through food, support, and community programs. We keep our costs low so more help reaches those who need it.
Caring For Orphans
Every child deserves a safe place to grow and dream. Our Caring For Orphans ministry invests in kids who don’t have a family or home. We focus on creating loving, stable environments for orphans in Colorado, Brazil, and East Africa.
With our support, orphans receive:
- Nutritious meals and safe shelter
- Access to basic education and learning materials
- Mentoring and care from trusted adults
We work closely with local churches and community leaders to find the most vulnerable orphans and families in need. We look for those who have little support and focus on situations where our help can make the biggest difference.
We work directly with trusted local partners and team members on the ground. They help us deliver food, supplies, and support in person, so we know the help gets to the right people. We also follow up to make sure needs are being met.
Yes, in many cases, you can visit orphans and families we support. We organize special trips and visits, making sure everyone’s safety and privacy are respected. Visits are planned with our local partners to make the experience meaningful for everyone involved.
Next Generation Mentoring
We’re passionate about equipping the next generation to thrive. Through our Next Generation Mentoring ministry, we work with young people from all backgrounds. Our goal is to guide them toward a life of purpose and faith, no matter where they come from.
We offer young people:
- Mentorship and positive role models
- Life skills workshops and leadership training
- Opportunities to serve others and build confidence
We mentor young people by spending time with them, offering guidance, and helping them grow in their faith and life skills. Our team listens, encourages, and supports each person as they face challenges and learn new things. We’re here to help them reach their potential and feel cared for.
We offer a mix of fun and meaningful activities for kids and teens, like group games, music, crafts, Bible lessons, and service projects. These activities help them make friends, learn new skills, and grow in their faith.
Our mentoring programs are open to kids and teens, especially those who may not have support at home or face tough situations. We welcome anyone who is looking for friendship, guidance, and a positive place to grow.
