Jeff Maes is the founder and leader of Vertical Cry. Jeff has an extensive ministry experience spanning (48) years. He met the Lord when he was 17 years old and immediately saw the grace of evangelism on his life. After serving on staff at various churches the Lord led him to focus all his efforts towards reaching the lost. Vertical Cry Global Evangelism was birth out of that passion for reaching lost souls.

David and Alice have been the driving force in the expansion of Vertical Cry Global Evangelism in Africa. Together we have conducted conferences at our base in Nairobi beginning in 2012 to present. Our mandate from the Lord is to have some type of church in all (54) nations of Africa by 2040. At our conferences we have had leaders from (13) Nations and have held conferences and outreaches in Burundi, Malawi, Zambia, and Tanzania. The Lord has blessed us with land for our orphanage and a church building that holds 800 people next to the training center. Through the training center we will be able to equip men, woman, teens and children in Kingdom Ministry and trades that can produce income.

We have been working with and supporting Joel and his wife in thier ministry to the people living on the Amazon River. They utilize two boats that take teams to feed, provide necessities, and proclaim the gospel. Joel and Graziele have been on the Amazon for the past 7 years starting from Manaus going down along the river.
Vertical Cry Ministries has its origin out of Exodus 3 when God said to Moses that the “Cry of His people” had come up to him. At that point Jeff began to feel the cries of the Orphan, the fatherless, the widow, and the poorest of the poor. Broken people who’s hearts were “crying” upward. What came out of that was an open door into the Housing Projects of America, the lost in Africa and the a ministry to Orphans and widows in Burundi. Presently Vertical Cry Ministries is helping care for widows and orphans in Kenya and Burundi.
